A destitute home called “Num Kulandaigal Illam” (meaning Our Children’s Home) currently houses 50plus orphan/ semiorphan/ destitute children. The home is at Arutpa Nagar, Kallikudi on the Madurai – Virudhunagar Highway (approx 15 kilometers before Virudhunagar).
The home houses children from

• All age groups - 5 yrs till 17 yrs (1st standard to 12th standard)
• 80% are girl children
•  A primary school up to 5th standard is within the campus
• As part of the vocational training - Children are taught tailoring and music.

To improve the children mental health, stability, flexibility, balance and self-confidence Tamilian traditional arts like bharatanatyam, silambattam is being taught free of cost for the children.
